Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki’s insistence on the nomination of Saadoun al-Dulaimi, the Ministry of Defense and Tohfik Yasiri of the Ministry of Interior.

The evening of the National Alliance held a meeting at the home of President Ibrahim al-Jaafari to discuss developments in the political arena.
The meeting comes ahead of a meeting of the political blocs on Monday at the headquarters of President Jalal Talabani, which aims to bridge the gap in views between the political blocs.
The leader of the Iraqi List, Iyad Allawi, formally apologized to attend this meeting, for reasons he said her health, said in a letter to President Ktalbani he would send one of his associates to represent him at a meeting of political leaders.
