Clinton warns Iraqis of wasting the opportunity to unite the country

BAGHDAD (Iba) / follow-up / .. Warned U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Friday, Iraqi officials, of wasting the opportunity to unite the country to achieve prosperity and unity, saying that he should act as a democratic Iraq to accept compromise.
Clinton said the U.S. ambassador to Iraq, James Jeffrey Bader discuss Iraqi politicians, including al-Maliki to settle their differences peacefully, pointing out that the Ambassador continues consistently with the various parties from Maliki, meet with them and trying to convince them and insists they should not miss this opportunity, adding that this is an opportunity to unify Iraq The only way for that is to reach a compromise.
Clinton said the United States will do all it can to help, but Iraq eventually a democracy now, and must dispose of this in mind, and this requires compromises.
The crisis which threatens the accused, during which Vice President Tariq al-Hashimi assassination squads, undermining the fragile coalition, raising concerns about the possible return of sectarian violence witnessed in the country after the U.S. invasion in 2003. (End)
