Economic Commission: the project of the food basket and stop constantly delayed due to budget
Denied a member of the parliamentary Economic Committee MP Hussein Al-Mura'bi, cancel the project of a basket of food processing citizen integrated, indicating that the work is still continuing and stopping was due to delay in approving the budget in 2012.
Al-Muraabi said in a statement Saturday that "the House of Representatives Economic Committee and the Ministry of Commerce started early this month to complete their preparations for the legal procedures for the project and that a number of specialized international companies processing food provided tempting offers half-price to the Ministry of Trade."
The press reports indicated that the parliamentary Economic Committee canceled a proposed citizen basket of food processing integrated result of the increased cost of material which was denied by Al-Muraabi stressing that the reason behind the suspension of the project is the delay in approving the budget for the current year.
