BAGHDAD - Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture completed a dead for purchasing nine helicopters from a French company.
Spokesman for the ministry Kareem Tamimi said the deal was brokered initially two years ago. He did not mention the name of the company.
The French Company has undertaken to deliver one helicopter every three months, to train Ministry's personnel and pilots to operate and work with the helicopters and to provide spare parts for them.
The helicopters cost in total $30 million USD, according to Tamimi.
