Removing part of the budget to raise the salaries of retirees

A member of the Finance Committee Haitham Jubouri an intention to deduct part of the operating budget and given as an increase to pensions, as well as to increase the budget of the development of regions. Jubouri said, told all of Iraq that "the Finance Committee is seriously considering to deduct part of the operating budget for the current year's budget is not affected by this," adding that "the operating budget last year's cut of 4% did not get it any effect."
He added that "removing part of the operating budget and given to the development of regions or retirees comes within the efforts made by the Finance Committee of the remedies for a slice of retirees as well as the provinces." The retirees complain about lack of salaries paid for by pointing out that these salaries do not fill their personal needs as well as their families. It is expected to discuss the House of Representatives in today's session to be attended by the Iraqi List, after a break of nearly a month, a proposal to increase pensions in advance of the Finance Committee, and another to lend to state employees. The Ministry of Finance has confirmed earlier in the absence of any increase in the salaries of retirees within the budget of 2012.
