Iraq signed a memorandum of understanding to implement a project of international optical cable

Baghdad (news) .. The Ministry of Communications and Public Telecommunications company and e-memorandum of understanding with the countries of the Persian Gulf to implement the project GIT international optical cable linking the Gulf, Turkey, through Iraq and on to Europe.
The ministry said in a statement received by the Agency (news) a copy of it on Tuesday: This project comes within the master plans developed by the ministry, which is striving to modernize and expand the services and world-class and open up an ambitious infrastructure development and communicational transferred from local to global yet be integrated with the Gaza Communications in neighboring countries as well as providing significant financial benefits as a result of transmission capacities in both directions and the north and south in addition to the wealth of Iraq's need for bandwidth and the level equivalent to other strategic projects. / Finished / l. m
