Questioned Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi in the opportunity to get a fair trial in the capital, Baghdad, and noted that he will request to transfer the case to international courts if the Judicial Council did not respond to his request to transfer the case to Kirkuk.
In an interview with "Radio Sawa," Hashemi said that the speed in which it was published the confessions of some members of the protection of those accused of terrorist crimes indicate the depth of political interference in his case, and expressed surprise at the rejection of his request to transfer the case outside of Baghdad.
Hashemi pointed out that he submitted a new request to transfer the case to Kirkuk, said that the lack of response Judicial Council to transfer the case will be tempted to resort to a request to transfer the case to international courts.
Hashemi and refused attempts to portray the crisis between him and the Prime Minister as a reflection of the conflict of wills and the neighboring countries, and pointed out that the quest to build a national project led to the target by some parties.
