Baghdad (AIN) -The Parliamentary Finance Committee’s member Najeeba Najeeb announced hosting the financial managers in the Presidency and the Council of Ministers and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to discuss their budgets for 2012.
Najeeb stated to (AIN) on Wednesday that "The Finance Committee of the Parliament hosted the experts and the financial managers in the Presidency and the Council of Ministers in addition to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, to discuss the details of their budgets and the possibility of grant financial allocations for pensioners and poorer segments in the Iraqi society and to increase job opportunities and how to achieve these ideas."
"The Finance Committee during its meeting today organized a schedule to host representatives of each ministry to define their budgets which will help us to raise the needed funds to support the retirees." Najeeb added.
The government had approved on December 2011 the budget of 2012 which was of $100 billion which was the largest budget in the history of Iraq.

According to the statement of the Minister of Planning Ali al-Shokri which said that “It is likely to have a supplementary budget to the federal budget of 2012 from the oil abundant revenues after reparation the financial defect which was a result of the request of the International Monetary Fund.” /End/
