Iraq stresses security measures on the border with Syria

Iraq began the implementation of strict security measures along the border between Iraq and Syria, for the purpose of preventing the infiltration of armed groups in Iraq.
Said Colonel Faisal Alkhlafawi, from the leadership of the border guards in Anbar, said that these measures "is a step in the exemplary process of repelling any infiltration of terrorist elements that may exploit the internal situation in Syria for the infiltration of Iraqi territory."
