Kurdistan signs agreement for three development projects

The Ministry of Planning of Kurdistan agreement with the United Nations to implement three projects in the field of capacity development of the region.
Al-Sindi said in a statement issued yesterday that the ministry has signed an agreement with the United Nations to implement three projects in the field of capacity development region with regard to end the second phase of the project to improve housing services in Erbil provided by the Government of the Territory, "pointing out that" the cost of the projects contained in the Convention of (4.5) million.
He added that one of those projects is the project neighborhood Curran Ainkawa in Erbil, which extends the period of implementation for ten months with funding from the Government of the Territory and the United Nations.
He explained: The second project includes the evaluation of economic infrastructure of the Kurdistan region in the sectors of electricity, roads, water and sewage, which performs also funded joint of the county and the International Organization The third project includes the construction of a system for management development and review (3 thousand and 200) project implemented by the Government of the Territory.
For his part, Deputy Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Iraq McNab: The signed agreement includes the implementation of projects at a cost of (4.5) million dollars shall be borne by the Kurdistan Insurance (2,000,092 dollars) from them.
He pointed to: that this step comes in the context of efforts towards achieving the Millennium Project's strategic in Iraq, especially long-term projects, which aims to improve the lives of citizens in the region.
