Agreed to hold a Preparatory Committee meeting next Monday
BAGHDAD / Baghdadiya News / .. political parties agreed to convene a meeting of the Preparatory Committee of the National Conference next Monday.
A statement issued by the Presidency of the Republic received / Baghdadiya News / copy of it: in the light of the meetings held by President Jalal Talabani, it was agreed to call a meeting of the Preparatory Committee which includes representatives of the parliamentary blocs, the three main, the National Alliance and Coalition and Iraqi Kurdistan, on Monday day on 02.06.2012 evening at the headquarters of President of the Republic of Baghdad.
And the president had received this evening the President of the National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafari, was during the search conditions in the light of developments and political developments and security experienced by the country ..
According to the presidential statement, the views and opinions between Talabani Jaafari identical for the success of the efforts being made to move to a new phase of the understandings and agreements and the creation of a new season of political stability.
Talabani met with Ayad al-Samarrai MP for the coalition in Iraq and the delegation accompanying him. At the meeting, the President welcomed the delegation and shed light on the events and efforts to bring the views and promote understandings between the political forces, explaining that there are steps that are encouraging and constructive towards the political breakthrough in the country and resolving outstanding problems .. As the importance of overcoming obstacles to the success of the persistent attempts to push forward the political process and political parties to the agreement to put the road map for the partnership and the implementation of agreements reached between the political forces.
The President of the Republic that all this needs to be an atmosphere of harmony and quiet, adding that the return of the Iraqi Council of Representatives is a positive step, and hoped to be crowned this atmosphere appropriate to return the government to hold their meetings the full quorum.
He said he and his Excellency during recent meetings with political leaders with whom they touch the problem-solving and the delivery of Iraq and its people to safety and peace.
