Baghdad (AIN) –The Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, confirmed that "The Iraqis are able to be a model for those who inspired by democracy and diversity."
A statement by SIIC received by All Iraq News Agency (AIN) cited "Hakim visited Abu Hanifa's Mosque on last Sunday and met the people who celebrate the occasion of the Prophet Mohammed's birth."
"Iraq is the located in an internationally strategic location and has all the elements pf power," the statement added, noting that "Hakim called to consolidate the unity among the Iraqis."
The statement continued "He urged all sides to be aware of the attempts of Iraq's enemies who try to destabilize security situation in Iraq."
"Iraq is the homeland for all Iraqis whose insistence on their connection to Islam will participate in eliminating all the disputes," the statement assured.
"The young are our hope to build the bright future," the statement concluded. /End/
