The statement added: At the beginning of the meeting, President Talabani welcomed the attendees stressing the importance of this meeting in order to reach ways to end the problems and overcome obstacles that hinder the political process and the transition to a new phase, a phase of building the state and its institutions in accordance with the Constitution and the law.
And pledged to work according to the statement of the Committee at its first meeting on Monday, January 15, 2012, heavily in order to achieve a national consensus successfully fulfill the aspirations and needs of all Iraqi people.
We have welcomed the decision of the Preparatory Committee of the Arab League on its intention to hold the next Arab summit in Baghdad and has committed to work together in a spirit of national in order to ensure the success of the Arab summit.
