He Kurdistan Alliance MP Mahmoud Othman expressed his hope that the result in the preparatory meeting to be held this evening at the home of President Jalal Talabani to form a committee to determine the place and time and agenda to be discussed the upcoming meeting of the political blocs.
Osman said, told all of Iraq [where] on Monday that "the preparatory meeting to be held at the home of the KNU and the presence of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and Parliament Speaker Osama Najafi and representatives of the National Alliance and the Kurdistan and the Iraqi List will discuss the formation of a preparatory committee to pave the way for holding an extended meeting of the political blocs to consider the differences between those blocks. "
He added that "the upcoming meeting of the political blocs will not be saved to positive results in case the insistence of the political blocs to their positions without making mutual concessions," adding that "some political differences stand behind the interests of a narrow partisan and sectarian."
Osman said that "any understanding between the political blocs will have a good effect on improving government performance and the security problems and service in the country."
The presidential statement issued last night announced the agreement to call a meeting of the Preparatory Committee which includes representatives from the three main parliamentary blocs, which is the National Alliance and Coalition and Iraqi Kurdistan in the headquarters of the President of the Republic in Baghdad in the light of the meetings held by Talabani.
The Committee which was formed in order to boot to meet the national expanded had its first meeting held in the presence of President Jalal Talabani and Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and Parliament Speaker Osama al in the fifteenth of last month to resolve the current political crisis.
And witnessing the political process and the relationship between the blocks exacerbated clear because of the continuing political differences between the coalition of state law and the Iraqi List, especially with regard to the issue of a warrant of arrest against the Vice President of the Republic required to eliminate Tariq al-Hashemi, and asked the Prime Minister to withdraw confidence from the Vice President Saleh al-Mutlaq, in addition to charges of Iraqi law of the state shirking on the implementation of the initiative of Erbil, which include achieving partnership in the state administration and decision-making and naming security minister and the formation of strategic policies and the lack of balance in the institutions of the state between the components of the people according to the views of Congress and the Iraqi List.
