The statement added that "the participants agreed that the Constitution is the basis for the settlement of disputes and to all those responsible to act according to it, and it must be all components of Iraqi society represented fully in the political process," noting that "the participants also agreed that the Iraqi judiciary is an independent authority and on an equal footing with other authorities and must remain free from political interference. "
The statement noted that "President Jalal Talabani asked the Preparatory Committee a road map to continue the political process in the framework of the Iraqi constitution, Erbil and agreements for the year 2010, for presentation to the leaders of political blocs."
In another statement emphasized that "the Preparatory Committee welcomed the decision of the Arab League on its intention to hold the next Arab summit in Baghdad and has committed to work together in a spirit of national in order to ensure the success of the summit," noting that it "also welcomed the return of Congress list of Iraq to the House of Representatives and the resumption of the participation of representatives of the Iraqi cabinet meetings from the day Tuesday.
