Prime Kurdistan Regional Government, Dr. Barham Ahmed Saleh said that the Kurds are keen on the success of the Iraqi national project more than others who were considered Kurds a threat to Iraq. Saleh added in an exclusive interview with Al Arabiya, on Tuesday evening: the current situation in Iraq at risk on the Kurds and the Iraqis in general, and is supposed to Ntdark political crisis and is supposed to work for the success of the National Conference to be held under the auspices of President Talabani and Barzani, the support of the President.
He continued: Kurds, like other peoples have the right to self-determination, and we were clear in our choice and we took a conscious choice, we saw that our interests as Kurds Iraqis are in Iraq, a democratic, federal, and from that standpoint we went directly after the fall of the dictatorial regime in Baghdad and we were active in building the new state share with our peers and other Iraqis in building this new state, I say without hesitation the Kurds would not be a factor for the division of Iraq, not in our interest that we also in our interest that Iraq succeed, our project is to succeed in the federal democratic Iraq. Saleh added: Kurds will not accept that we return back to the past of tyranny and will not accept Bhbajh other or persecution or discrimination last, we will be active in Iraq and we will be supportive for the success of the Iraq project, but the others insisted on tearing Iraq and dividing it would last, but from our side (and will prove days, the truth of what I say) that we will be most committed to the success of Iraq and the past years have demonstrated this fact.
Saleh said: Kurds today is part of the solution, we want to be actors in the solution and call for a solution and we will what we can for the solution will not be a factor division, stressing the need to be a new Iraq based on the basis of partnership and harmony between its components not on the basis of exclusion or marginalization.
