Finance allocated 500 billion dinars to reduce poverty in Iraq

Ministry of Finance has allocated 500 billion dinars from the current year budget to support the draft strategy for poverty reduction.
The Director of Information Ministry Zaid Mohamed, in a press statement on Thursday that "the Finance Minister Rafie al-Issawi said the ministry to support the draft poverty reduction strategy in Iraq, during his reception of the said project manager at the World Bank, Nicolas Portara."
He added, "it was allocated 495 billion dinars from the federal budget to support the project, stressing that the support of the project comes to great importance in raising the level of living of the citizen and the reduction of poverty and its manifestations in the country". / 2
