MP for the WIN center coalition in the Iraqi List, Muhammad Iqbal, the arrival of a letter from the Supreme Judicial Council to lift the immunity of MP for the Iraqi Adnan al-Janabi.
Iqbal said the Agency {Euphrates News} announced today that "the Supreme Judicial Council sent a letter to the Presidency of the Council of Representatives to lift the immunity of MP Adnan al-Janabi," adding that "the request to lift the immunity of al-Janabi, was because of statements to the media for it. Noting that" the demand has reached to the Council of House of Representatives before the request to lift the immunity of MP Sabah al-Saadi. "
He added that "the Judicial Council, the request to lift the immunity of some MPs for making a false academic documents to get membership of the House of Representatives."
He said Iqbal, "The House of Representatives will vote on any request to lift immunity if the request because of a statement or position of deputy to be stripped of his immunity if either because of fraud, the House will take appropriate action," adding that he can not accept a member of the Parliament has forged study document. "
He is al-Janabi, the presidency of the Commission on oil and energy, one of the closest House of Representatives of the Iraqi leader Iyad Allawi and was a member of the House of Representatives in the previous session.
