2.5 billion dinars tolls in Salahuddin province last year
An official and media relations at the Directorate of the passage of Colonel Salah al-Din Mohammed Ahmed Mohammed that the Directorate has made a financial revenue exceeded two billion and five hundred thousand dinars from fees and fines imposed against violators of traffic laws during the past year.
A statement of his office to say that the total amounts Asthsaltha Directorate over the past year amounted to two billion and 851 million dinars from the imposition of registration fees for vehicles of all kinds and the transfer of car ownership and the granting of driving licenses as well as financial penalties against violators of traffic laws, pointing out that these sums handed over all to the treasury of the province transferred by turn to the central treasury in the capital Baghdad.
He added that the fines alone amounted to 157 million and 770 thousand dinars, from traffic fines imposed on owners of vehicles, revealing the Directorate book about 165 cars in a variety of all Qguataha located across the province.
