The Director General of the Department Riad Fadel Muhammad said in a statement issued by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers received by the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it today, "The direction came after the spread of the phenomenon of begging in the main streets of Baghdad and other provinces, especially to bring beggars for children to obtain the sympathy of the citizens what it leads to their stay for hours long in the harsh environmental conditions and constitute a violation of children's rights and protection and care. "
"The General Secretariat called for taking what it takes to detect these cases and a medical examination for the detection of health conditions for children who use to beg and to ensure ownership of the child and in coordination and cooperation with the Ministries of Interior and Health."
