Baghdad {: News} Euphrates said Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, however, Abawi that "the Council of Ministers decided that the issue of a memorandum sent to the U.S. embassy in Baghdad, Iraq, to exclude from the application of some of the sanctions to be imposed on Iran, so do not affect its economic conditions."
Abawi said in a press statement today that "the memorandum will request exemption from the application of some of the things that affect us directly, and not all the sanctions, and the subject is still under examination and through diplomatic channels."
The U.S. administration plans to impose economic sanctions on the Islamic Republic of Iran as a means to pressure it to halt its nuclear program. Ended
