Kurdistan Regional Parliament held two special sessions Wednesday and Thursday next
Kurdistan Region Parliament held two special sessions, on Wednesday and Thursday next, be devoted to choosing the head of the House of Representatives, Ministers and their deputies instead of resigning, according to a statement of the Parliament of the province.
The statement pointed out that the meeting on Wednesday will be devoted to the selection of the President of the Council of Representatives and his deputy, rather than independent, as would be allocated hearing on Thursday to name the prime minister and his deputy.
He explained that due to the candidate took the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Arslan Baez, President of the Kurdistan Parliament instead of Kamal Kirkuki, at the time not been announced so far for the Kurdistan Democratic candidate for the post of deputy speaker of parliament.
The Kurdistan Democratic Party nominated Vice President Barzani to take over as prime minister of the region instead of Barham Saleh, as nominated by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Emad Ahmed to the post of deputy prime minister instead of the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Azad Barwari.
