"Gate of Iraq" BAGHDAD - Mary Rayes Chancellor in the Information Office of the Prime Minister said on Monday that Iraq supports the construction of the southern neighbor, Saudi Arabia for a barrier along the 812 kilometers between the two countries, considering that the wall will enhance the security and prevents the entry of "terrorists" into Iraq.
But Saudi Arabia, also said it had begun construction of the wall within its northern border in an effort designed to prevent the fighters from the base sequence and drugs.
The move comes after a year of Saudi Arabia invited the authorities of their country, Iraqi officials to build a thermal insulator wall with the neighboring countries, to detect infiltrators and smugglers trying to enter Iraqi territory in an informal manner.
Rais said that "the Iraqi government supports the construction of a separation wall built by Saudi Arabia has started just a length of up to 812 kilometers."
She pointed out that "the construction of this wall will enhance the security situation and prevent the flow of terrorist groups through Saudi territory and it would not affect diplomatic relations between Iraq and Saudi Arabia."

The Saudi Interior Ministry has launched the project of building the security fence on its northern border with Iraq and Jordan in the "public tender".
Riyadh says that the project comes as a first stage in the development project for the Saudi border guards and specialized building Osjah comma on the Saudi border areas adjacent to the North and support of advanced technologies in support of border guards to detect any attempts to penetrate to and from Saudi territory.
