BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Kurdish Alliance MP Mahmoud Othman said today that the inclusion of both Vice-President Tariq al-Hashimi and Deputy Premier Saleh al-Mutlaq cases will beget new problems for the National Conference that "may hinder it".
These cases "may lead to the failure of the conference" Othman told Aswat al-Iraq.
"The political blocs rejected the inclusion of these two cases, which should be solved outside the conference corridors," he added.
"If the parties wish to make the conference a success, they should discuss joint issues and put aside others," Othman confirmed.
Yesterday al-Iraqiya Bloc announced that the two cases of Hashimi and Mutlaq were of primary concern for them in the National Conference.
