Hashimi, Mutlaq cases in next Sunday national conference preparatory meeting

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq : Iraqiya bloc MP Itab al-Douri stressed today that both cases of vice-president Tariq al-Hashimi and deputy premier Saleh al-Mutlaq will be within the discussions of next Sunday national conference preparatory meeting.
MP Douri told Aswat al-Iraq that all political entities will attend the national conference in order to reach a unified stand before the Arab states attending the coming Arab Summit.
A number of meetings were held for the preparatory committee, which comprised by the leading blocs of the conference, to study the working papers submitted, as well as its agenda.
Iraq is witnessing an acute crisis along the accusations made against vice-president Tariq al-Hashimi for "terrorism" and the move to demote al-Mutlaq from his post; both are leading members in opponent Iraqiya bloc.
In an attempt to solve the crisis, President Jalal Talabani suggested holding a national conference for all political blocs to find a way out
