IS:accusses Maliki of politcally dealing with detainees file

Baghdad (AIN)-The Iraqiya Slate (IS) accused the Premier Nouri al-Maliki of dealing politically with the detainees' file."
MP Qusay Ebadi read in a statement on behalf of the Iraqiya Slate, during a press conference held in the parliament Tuesday "During the past months the country witnessed systematic arrest operations in different parts of Iraq under the accusation of collapsing the governing system although we called for carrying out investigations to see the details of the alleged plot but responsible authorities neglected this demand."
He added that "This delay may reinforce fears that the arrests are politically motivated rather than maintaining the system of government or the civil peace."
Ebadi added that "Maliki and some political parties held some political deals to release some detianees who belong to certain political parties."
He concluded the statement by saying that "The Iraqiya Slate renews today its assurance and its commitment to its national project and calls for stopping all arrests and the release of detainees for political cases under the pretext of conspiracy to overthrow the government." /End/
