showed British parliamentary delegation - Scottish common admiration of progress witnessed by the Kurdistan Region in various fields, praising the efforts of the region to resolve the current political crisis in Iraq. This came in the framework of a visit by the delegation to Kurdistan Region to discuss ways of strengthening bilateral relations and joint cooperation, the official said on Foreign Relations territorial Government Falah Mustafa, the foreign policy pursued by the Government of the Territory comes in the light of the foreign policy of Iraq and in coordination and cooperation with the Iraqi Foreign Ministry.
He added that the Government of the Territory have a clear policy is openness to the world and build ties of friendship based on common interests, and strengthen the bonds of relations in the political, economic and cultural ties with the international community.
At the end of the meeting stressed the guests that he will raise the message and the positions of the Kurdistan Regional Government to the Parliament the British and Scotland in order to inform them of the foreign policy of the Kurdistan Regional Government for strengthening the bilateral relations between the two sides in various fields.
In a related context, Mustafa said to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that there is in Arbil at the moment more than 20 consulates and commercial office and external, including Guensalitan two Arab Egypt and Jordan, explaining that he will soon be opening consulates general of both the UAE and Palestine in addition to several Western consulates. He added that the Kurdistan Regional Government considers it necessary to have the Department for External Relations to regulate matters relating to foreign relations and diplomacy, coordination and cooperation with consulates and representative offices of foreign in Erbil and foreign embassies in Baghdad.
He explained that this is done through cooperation and coordination with the Federal Foreign Office and supervising the work KRG representations abroad, coordination and cooperation with organizations of the United Nations and other international organizations operating in the region. He said in the same context that the Kurdistan Region adopt a "policy window open and work on access to others, whether in the Arab or Western to encourage them to open consulates or trade offices in the region, as we have today an opportunity to deal directly with the outside world after it suffered the isolation imposed on us the former regime over the decades.
