BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Sadrist Trend renewed its fears that the deterioration in the Syrian political scene may have on Iraq.
"Iraq is afraid of the unknown changes in Syria if Orthodox factions controlled it," the head of Sadrist Political Authority, Karar al-Khafaji noted.
In a statement, received by Aswat al-Iraq, Khafaji received the Islamic Conference Organization delegation, where the regional issues, particularly those in Syria, were discussed.
It added that both sides tackled the activation of Mecca Document of 2006, as well as bilateral relation between the Islamic Organization and the Sadrist Trend.
