Human Rights Ministry discloses new Iraq-Iran war corpses

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq : Digging operations were completed in Fao city, Basra province, to find 178 Iraqi and Iranian soldiers' corpses who were killed in the Gulf War I, Human Rights Ministry sources announced here today.

The digging operations were made by both Iraqi and Iranian sides.

In a statement, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, added that 159 corpses were Iraqis, 30 of them their identities were known, while 19 corpses were Iranians, including 11 corpses with known identities.
