Announced in Abu Dhabi The UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the transfer during a meeting today in Baghdad, Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, a letter from Gen. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces on the relations between the two countries and their development.
In Baghdad, said Maliki's office Bban the Agency has received all of Iraq [where] a copy of UAE Foreign Minister extended an invitation to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to visit the United Arab Emirates and that al-Maliki promised to meeting them as soon as possible.
Have been invited during a meeting with the Prime Minister in his official office on Thursday, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates and the delegation accompanying him.
The statement said al-Maliki stressed the importance of developing relations between Iraq and the UAE in all areas, were also discussed during the meeting in the last developments in the Arab arena.
The statement added: "For his part, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the need for increased coordination and cooperation, to serve the interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Baghdad today on an official visit lasted several hours and was met at Baghdad International Airport, Mr., however, Abawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He said a Foreign Ministry statement that during the meeting, they discussed the ongoing preparations for holding the Arab summit conference and present its session to be held in Baghdad at the end of next March. / End
