ARBIL / Aswat al-Iraq : Kurdish region President Masoud Barzani said that "the Kurds were able to prove their presence and identity, so time is ripe to decide their rights".
In his speech on the 66 Anniversary for the establishment of Kurdistan Republic, he pointed out that "we have successfully passed the stages of war despite our sacrifices, but we proved our presence and preserved our identity, so it is time to uphold our rights and this experience".
He confirmed that "problems should be solved by dialogue, not violence".
Commenting on the role of Barzanis in Kurdistan Republic, he reminded the role of Mulla Mustapha Barzani during the establishment of the republic, when Barzani "announced himself a soldier in the new republic".
