BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari received Monday a delegation from the Arab League led by Assistant Secretary General Sameer Sayf al-Yazal for talks over security, administrative and organization preparations for the coming Arab summit, a ministry statement read.
“Zebari praised efforts by the pan-Arab organization’s efforts for the success of the summit and voiced Iraq’s commitment to the league’s resolutions and Arab consensus,” added the statement.
A league official said the conference will discuss important economic topics, including the Arab energy strategy, food security, water and disaster management.
