Al Sejri: the current budget does not meet the aspirations of Salahuddine

Baghdad (NINA) - MP from the Salahuddine Province Ali Al Sejri said that "the current year budget passed by the Parliament last week did not meet the aspirations of the provinces, especially Salahuddine."
He told NINA "the current year budget was unfair to Salahuddine and did not cover major projects such as the sewage and other projects due to the lack of funds to finance them, which is supposed to be within the budget of the ministries."
Sejri considered the lack of funds allocated to the province as unfair, saying "we will not tolerate that, it will reflect negatively on the public status in the province."
The budget obliges the federal ministries to distribute expenditures on the provinces according to the percentage of population after excluding their allocations for the Ministry HQ and the strategic projects of common interest to the provinces. /End/
