BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari arrived in Kuwait on Tuesday to convey an invitation to Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah to attend the Arab summit in Baghdad in late March.
"Zebari met upon his arrival with his Kuwaiti counterpart, Sheikh Sabah Khaled al-Sabah, and senior Kuwaiti officials," according to a statement of the foreign ministry.
"The two discussed during the meeting ways of bolstering bilateral relations and Iraq's preparations to host the coming Arab summit," the statement added.
"They also focused on the upcoming visit of Prim Minister Nouri al-Maliki to Kuwait in mid March, in addition to exchanging view points of the latest developments in the Arab arena," it continued.
