Baghdad (AIN) –The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan PUK announced on Sunday making some changes at the level of leaderships of the Party headed by President Jalal Talabani.
Sadi Beera assumed the responsibility of the third position in Erbil branch to replace Aso Mamend who, in turn, assumed the responsibility of the second position in Kirkuk branch of PUK.
The reasons behind these changes have not been mentioned, but earlier, the Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Jalal Talabani has called in press statements to renew the leaderships of the Party, revealing that “23 of the 45 leaders of the Party are new.”
Talabani also called the PUK to change its slogans and some of its leaderships, assuring that “A committee has been formed to implement reformations within the Party before comrades secede for change.” /End/
