Baghdad (AIN) –MP, Liqa Wardi, of the Iraqiya Slate described the calls to distribute 25% of the oil revenues to the Iraqi people as “Immature step” which is meant “for political aims only.”
In a press statement received by AIN, she stated “There is no country in the world distributes the rights of its people in such immature and not well-planned way,” calling to “Set a good plan to avoid the injustice that might harm some of the Iraqi people.”
“We agree to give the people their rights, but in a plan set by specialized people,” she added, calling to specify “The people who are going to be included in this distribution.”
“Distributing the oil revenuers to the Iraqi people must be permanent and not for one year only,” Wardi pointed out.
“The increase in the salaries of the retired people must be fair because this category has suffered for a long time,” she added, assuring that “The increase must be permanent and for this year only.”
“The Trade ministry has a suggestion which is to provide all the items of the ration card instead of distributing money to the citizens in order to make self-sufficiency for the citizens,” MP Wardi concluded. /End/
