Qusay al-Suhail calls for Germany and EU to support Iraq out of Chapter VII
Called First Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Qusay al-Suhail, Germany and the countries of the EU to "support Iraq out of Chapter VII."
A statement by his press office said, "Suhail received the German ambassador in Baghdad, Christian Baker, George Karl and his accompanying delegation today and discussed the development of bilateral relations in economic, scientific and parliamentary elections and the entry of German companies to invest in Iraq during the next phase."
Suhail said to "the importance of strengthening relations between Iraq and Germany and to benefit from her experience in all areas as one of the advanced countries in the international community."
He renewed his call for German companies to rebuild Iraq and said "that the country is entering a phase of reconstruction and construction, which calls for concerted efforts aimed at reconstruction," he said at the same time to "promote the economic and scientific cooperation between the two countries and the importance of open ports new science between institutions and universities in Iraq and its German counterpart."
The two sides reviewed "developments of regional situation and the role of Iraq's pivotal role in the region." / / 5
