In a press statement to All Iraq News Agency, he said Friday “The great importance of the security ministries requires more focus on choosing the leaders who suit this responsibility.”
“We hope PM Maliki will choose qualified and professional officers who were not involved in corruption to assume the responsibility of the security ministries,” he added, stressing that “The right choice for these ministries will positively reflect on the performance of the security departments.”
The security ministries are still run by acting ministers since the formation of Maliki’s Cabinet more than two years ago due to conflicts between the Iraqiya Slate and the State of Law Coalition over the nominees for these two ministries. /End/
