Baghdad (AIN) –The Secretary General of the Patriotic Sons of Iraq Alliance Abbas al-Mihamadawi threatened that his alliance will sue any political side that attempt to appoint non-politically independent security ministers.
Mihamadawi stated to All Iraq News Agency (AIN) Saturday “All politicians should realize that security ministries should be run by independent ministers.”
“The Non-Government Organizations should be responsible for nominations for the security ministries away from Erbil Agreement which we do not admit politically or legally,” he added.
Mihamadawi assured that “The NGOs will nominate ten independent candidates who are qualified to assume the responsibility of the defense and interior ministries after the end of the Arab Summit.”
The security ministries are still run by acting ministers. /End/
