Baghdad (AIN) –The Premier and Commanding General of the Armed Forces Nouri al-Maliki headed the meeting of the Cell of Crisis with attendance of the Acting Defense Minister Sadoun al-Dulaimi and the Advisor of the National Security as well as other security key leaders to discuss the latest security preparations for holding the Arab Summit.
A statement by the Premier’s office cited Saturday “The latest security developments as well as the preparations of the security departments to hold the next Arab Summit in Baghdad and securing the official delegations participating in the Summit.”
“PM Maliki urged the security forces to tighten their measures and do their duties with the highest degrees of discipline and work to block all the roads in front of the terrorists,” according to the statement.
The Arab Summit is scheduled to be held in Baghdad on March 29th. /End/
