Baghdad (AIN) –The Parliamentary Committee of Provinces and Regions completed "The amendments of 21 articles out of 55 others within the Law."
The member of the Committee, MP Najim al-Abdullah, stated in a press conference held at the parliament building on Monday "The Committee completed the amendments of the Law and presented it to the parliament chairmanship to be considered and enlisted within the parliament agenda," assuring that "According to these amendments, the province are granted wider authorities while the relation between the Central Government and the Local Governments becomes more clear."
"The political scene will witness more stability because the relations between the CG and LGs will be consolidated due to the wider authorities granted to the provinces," he concluded. /End/
