Economic Commission: A mechanism must be studied for the payment of Iraqi debts

BAGHDAD / follow-up to the East: The member of the Economic Commission for MP / Kurdistan Alliance bloc / Mahma Khalil to the need to develop a new mechanism for the payment of foreign debt owed by Iraq, without impact on the state budget, in order to avoid the continuing sanctions on the Iraqi economy. Khalil said (of the Agency news) on Monday: a new mechanism must be developed based on scientific grounds and economical way to pay Iraq's foreign debt incurred by him, so as not to affect the general budget and the Iraqi economy, being one-sided Rieia depends on oil revenues. He pointed to: that Iraq does not need this debt due to the policy of the former regime that made arbitrary and deteriorating Iraqi economy by bringing the debt used to buy weapons and wars, which were the lives of the people. He added the federal government to avoid the ongoing economic sanctions on Iraq by increasing interest due to the payment of debts owed it to the States, mostly from Arab countries that the Western countries and Asian countries have canceled all debts owed by Iraq.
