Baghdad (AIN) –The Iraqi Premier Nouri al-Maliki and accompanying delegation have returned to Baghdad on Thursday morning, concluding an official visit to the state of Kuwait.
A statement by Maliki’s office received by All Iraq News Agency cited Thursday “Maliki’s visit to Kuwait resulted in reaching settlements over several pending files between Iraq and Kuwait within short term schedules.”
Maliki and accompanying delegation have visited Kuwait for one day in response to an official invitation from his Kuwaiti counterpart.
Maliki met the Kuwaiti Emir, Kuwaiti Speaker as well as Kuwaiti PM during this visit. /End/
