Baghdad (AIN) –Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs Hoshyar Zebari described the discussions of Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki with Kuwaiti Prince and PM as “Very prosperous.”
Zebari said in a press conference followed a banquet held for al-Maliki before his departure from Kuwait that “Maliki discussions with Kuwaiti ministers were positive and will contribute in consolidating the bilateral relations,” noting that “We expect the coming period to bear positive developments between the two countries.”
“The issues of Iraqi Airlines debts to Kuwaiti Airlines Foundation was solved, the other files will be ended when Iraq fulfills its obligations according to the UN resolutions,” he added, noting that “Iraq will begin with the maintenance of the borders signs and all the technical issues related to this file.”
Zebari answered a question about Mubarak Harbor’s by saying “All the files were discussed in addition to the navigation rights in Abdullah gulf.”
Iraq and Kuwait announced that the Iraqi-Kuwaiti Ministerial Committee headed by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs in Both countries will hold a meeting after the Arab Summit which will be held in Baghdad at the end of current March.
