Baghdad (news) Council of Representatives resumed its sessions today, chaired by Council President Osama Najafi and the presence of (220) deputies. A source in the information department of the Council of Representatives (the Agency news) today: the House of Representatives will discuss the first reading of a proposed amendment of the law of the financial budget submitted by the Legal Committee.
The source added: that the meeting will include voting on the draft law on ratification of the Republic of Iraq to the International Convention on the institution of the Organization of the International Agency for renewable energy and to vote on a bill overturn the Revolution Command Council dissolved No. (196) for the year 1984 and vote on the draft law on ratification of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the European Union EU in Shan strategic partnership in the field of energy.
He explained: that the agenda will also include voting on the draft accession of the Republic of Iraq to the international treaty concerning the Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture and vote on a bill accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) of groups of animals and wild plants and to vote on a bill accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Convention establishing the Organization of Plant Protection in the Near East.
