Janabi: Baghdad Summit represents Arab unity of Iraq’s normal return

Baghdad (NINA) – Leader of Iraq’s Republican Gathering, Sa’ad Asim al-Janabi, considers holding the Arab Summit in Baghdad a success and Arab unanimity for normal return of Iraq to its Arab sphere.
In a statement to the press on Saturday, Mar. 17, Janabi said, “Arab unanimity for Iraq’s return and to resume its active role for regional security and peace, as well as stability.”
He welcomed the gathering of Arab leaders in Baghdad which will become an important event in Iraq’s future, because its success will reflect Arab leaders’ determination to overcome current circumstances.
Janabi called on Arab leaders to deal with important issues the Arab homeland is witnessing and to put their peoples’ interests before all other interests to enable realizing Arab advancement. / End.
