Told the U.S. ambassador to Iraq, James Jeffrey
Transport Minister Hadi al-Amiri today his country's readiness to stand by Iraq to maintain the land and waters and work flow ports and maritime traffic. "
A statement from the Ministry of Transport, the minister met with U.S. Ambassador and discussed ways to develop the transport sector in Iraq and the possibility to take advantage of U.S. expertise and capabilities in this area.
The statement added that the two sides discussed the preparations to host the Arab summit.
