BAGHDAD (Iba) .. President Jalal Talabani and U.S. Ambassador James Jeffrey, the importance of promoting opportunities for understanding and cooperation and joint action between the various forces and Iraqi factions, and to help in the development process of building the political, security and economic and service. A statement from the presidency, Talabani was received yesterday, U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, James Jeffrey and the delegation accompanying him. During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen the Iraqi-US relations and expanding the horizons of cooperation in the interest of peoples of the two friendly countries. The statement noted that in the review of developments, the President spoke about the coming Arab summit which is being held at the end of this week in Baghdad, where he explained that preparations and procedures necessary to host this summit has been completed, noting that the Baghdad summit gives indications of many to restore Iraq its natural being a founding member of the Arab League. He said the U.S. ambassador to the importance of convening the Arab summit in Baghdad, explaining that there is interest in global and regional great this summit is being held in conditions of the task at various levels, and expressed his best wishes and confidence in the successful outcome of the efforts of Iraqi leaders, the success of this Summit, and will enhance the status of Iraq and help create a more stable regional environment and development.
