Baghdad (NINA) – Law maker from State of Law Alliance, Abdul Salam al-Maliki, accused head of Kurdistan region, Massoud Barazani, of working toward implementing the plan of US Vice President, Joe Biden, to divide Iraq.
In a statement on Tuesday, Mar. 27, to NINA, Maliki said, “Barazani’s escalating statement against the government, at a time political blocs are to unite for the Summit’s success, in addition to his insinuating of declaring Kurdish State, is to implement Biden’s idea of dividing Iraq.”
Maliki described Iyad Allawi’s demands and Barazani’s accusation of being embarrassing to the government through Iraqiya’s demanding Arab heads of states and the Arab League to postpone the Summit.
