Oil and energy: the oil ministry to brief us on the details of the contracts of licensing rounds 2011

Twilight / Committee called for the parliamentary oil and energy, on Saturday, the Oil Ministry to be informed on the details of licensing rounds contracts concluded by the Ministry with foreign oil companies, also called the Oil Ministry and the introduction of its observations on the law of oil and gas to make the necessary adjustments.
A member of the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary Furat al-Shara said in an interview for (twilight) "We demand that the Oil Ministry to brief us on all contracts concluded with foreign oil companies in licensing rounds," adding that "the Commission on oil and energy on these contracts, and was the Oil Ministry to consult us before its conclusion."
Shara said, "We have remarks on the law of oil and gas, we hope that draws the oil ministry to modify it, and there are priorities of the draft laws pertaining to oil wealth."
Zkrmketb and Hussein Shahristani, Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister earlier said Iraq introduced some amendments to the draft law of oil and gas, the long-awaited and reviewed by the Energy Commission, the Council of Ministers.
The Information Office of Shahristani said in a statement issued late Thursday night that the committee headed by al-Shahristani discussed in its amended version of the draft law of oil and gas transmitted to the Ministry of Oil.
Iraq has signed several oil contracts with international companies are expected to improve the status of the country as a producer of oil, but investors are waiting for approval of the oil and gas law, which will provide a legal framework for exploration.
